Food Bank Aid is launching Fill the Gap, a 36-hour fundraising appeal. We’re starting early, and all donations will be doubled on 1–2 March – doubling the impact for food banks across London.

As the cost of living remains high, more households are struggling to afford food and everyday essentials. This places increasing pressure on food banks and widens the gap between rising need and available supplies.

Fill the Gap raises funds to help food banks access the essential items they need most, ensuring the right support reaches communities when it’s needed.

The appeal comes at a critical time, as food banks continue to face high demand and need reliable access to essentials to help people live with dignity.
